Johnny Dynamite and the Bloodsuckers dropped Sleeveless, an absolute ~banger~ of a sophomore album, on Born Losers Records late last month, and we haven’t stopped listening since.

Seriously.

We’re listening right now.

When we were thinking about an artist we’d want to spend a weekend with, JD was def our top choice, so we recruited he of the mad music skillz and maybe best mullet in Brooklyn to build us an NYC itinerary for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

FRIDAY

“When you get off work Friday, treat yourself to some Vanessa’s dumplings on Eldridge. If you haven’t had a scallion pancake yet in your life, just order one. Once you’re good and full, mosey on over to my show at the Bowery Union. The doors are at 7pm and I’m the first to play. Buy your ticket here.

There will be free wine and some great artists playing. I will be opening for Petite League, S.C.A.B., and A Savage of Parquet Courts will be DJing.”

SATURDAY

“When you wake up Saturday, you’ll most likely be a little hungover. Go to Kellogg’s Diner, that should fix you up. If you’re trying to get an early start, you’ve earned yourself a mimosa. I go with my classic order every time, 2 eggs over easy with pastrami and home fries. Get yourself a side of bacon, you’re going to want to be full for tonight. Our Wicked Lady is having a festival, it starts at 2pm so eat quick and make moves towards Morgan Ave. I’ll be playing drums for Whiner at 6:45pm, but get there early cause you’re gonna wanna catch all your friends, and they’ve got a big lineup with New Myths, TVOD, Viktor Longo, Monograms, Basic Bitches, Whiner, Sugarlife, Colatura, Shadow Monster, Mitchell Leonard, and Moon Kissed.”

SUNDAY

“Now it’s Sunday, you probably need a break. Well too bad. We’re going to Coney Island if it doesn’t rain. Get yourself a Nathan’s hot dog, or my favorite, the clam strips. Then head down to the beach, wait 20 minutes before you swim… that is if you dare to swim in the waters of Coney Island. Dry off, ride the Cyclone, and ride the Thunderbolt, I nearly shat myself last time. Don’t wear yourself out in the sun too much because it’s your turn to shine… Ashjesus is hosting Karaoke at the Broadway at 10pm. Dance with yourself and sing a Billy Idol song for me.”
