Sometimes an overheard-in-Brooklyn moment makes for the best band bio, and thus we appreciate Slut Magic’s move to take a stranger’s observation and TM the fuck out of it.

That said, while evocative (and accurate), the sentence doesn’t do justice to the entire ~Slut Magic~ experience—a gloriously glam ‘n’ wild ride that you can catch LIVE this weekend at The Nest + score a one-of-a-kind version of, forever pressed into permanence, via their upcoming Leesta Vall direct-to-vinyl live sesh.

Because there’s no group of cooler kids (w/ a more impressive hair/makeup game), we asked the Slut Magic dream team to curate a weekend just for you + us, and it kicks off TODAY.

Slut Magic w/ Climates and The Down & Outs @ The Nest. Listen. Our shows are wild af, you really don’t wanna be super embarrassed by being the only one of your friends and acquaintances who hasn’t been to a Slut Magic show.
Disco Fish dance party @ City Reliquary. This venue is everything—last time we were there we had crushes on like nine people. Each.
Get pizza at Vinnie’s. SM likes our plain cheese slices, but the buffalo chicken is also insanely good.

SUNDAY

Tasty rum cocktails and atmos @ The Rogers Garden.
Sueños Comedy show @ Rise Radio. Fire stand-up benefiting mutual aid. Literally everyone wins.
Treat yourself with Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, the vegan flavors are amaaaaaaze.
New Colossus Fest @ 18th Ward Brewing. Live bands all afternoon/evening and great beers on tap. Seriously, we don’t even like beer and we like theirs.
